Introduction: Part Two

Hey everyone! I apologize for the delay with my second part of my introduction. I have been getting stumped by finals and it has been stressful. Just one more week and I’ll be done! 😀 Alright, so I am currently typing from my Craigslist couch while Broyce is chewing on his new bone that we bought him from Petco. He loves it and whenever I go near him, he picks up his bone and runs away. Can you believe that? The nerve of this kid!

Anyways, to continue with my part two, I want to begin with my goals and aspirations for my life.

Every year, every day, every hour is different from the last.

Experiences and even people can change a person in an instant. Lately, I have been going through some phases. First of all, I have figured out that fashion and writing are two things I love learning about and experiencing. I am a beginner with fashion so do not think I will be posting about Paris Fashion Week or what an actress wore (maybe a few times). I will be writing about finding your own style and how to be comfortable in your own skin. My goals are to graduate from ASU (I plan to return in the fall of 2015). Then, begin my own company of stylists and perhaps a clothing line. I want to be a personal stylist of either famous or ordinary people from around the globe. This way, I will be hitting two birds with one stone, as the saying goes. I love to travel (I will go into detail in a later post) and I will be styling people from around the world. Moving on.

I want to also have my own coffee shop (yaaassss). I LOVE coffee, say it with me. I LOVE COFFEE!! Okay, okay, I’ll calm down. So, I definitely want to open up my very own coffee shop here in Arizona. Then, if my coffee shop becomes a great hit, I will expand all around the world. While being a stylist and a coffee addict, I plan to create an outreach program for high school’s. I want to inspire people because the world isn’t what it seems. I am not saying I am an expert about life, at least not just yet. What I am trying to say is that I want to make high school students realize that it is okay entering college and not knowing what you will do with the rest of your life. Because no one knows.

After I have marked off these three goals, then I can lay back and relax. Well, I won’t relax because running two businesses and a program will be CAARAAAZYYYY. It’s okay though, because it will all be worth it. I know I will not hate waking up in the morning because I have to drive in traffic for 45 minutes and then work from nine to five. To some it doesn’t seem like a bad day but it does get tiring when you work hard in order to pay your bills and have nothing left in the end. It is not okay.

Enough ranting for one night.

As I go along, I will be posting blogs about fashion, college, makeup, and family in general. I will also throw in some life lessons from personal experiences. I want to make it clear to everyone that I am not an expert in the fashion and makeup fields. I am not a MUA or a fashion guru but I do have my own style which everyone will get a chance of seeing. I will post about recommendations and reviews about beauty products and clothes. If you do not realize by now, I love shopping. So, I will try my best to let you know about sales and other miscellaneous things relating to makeup and fashion.

One last thing before I go. Lately, I have been paying more attention to my surroundings for a reason. I have no idea why but I have this feeling inside me that good luck is coming my way. I was at a baby shower and I saw three little girls playing on a small, one foot brick wall (yes, there are one foot brick walls). A five year old girl was walking on it, putting one foot in front of the other. The other five year old was helping the three year old learn to walk but the three year old was having trouble. Then, the five year old became bored and let her go to play with the other five year old. I could tell the three year old was scared of falling but she seemed determined to master the skill of walking on a wall. After many times of falling, she finally learned to balance herself. After a while, she had mastered it! She smiled and from that moment I realized that was me.

Since I had started college, one downfall became ten major downfalls. I let  life defeat me. It had won. But I knew there was something telling me to keep going. To keep going and to begin living my dreams. My life was being run by money. That is when I came to the conclusion that I had to get my mind out of negativity and do what I please instead of pleasing others. Believe it or not, I changed my mindset on the same day I created my blog. So there you have it. Once again, welcome to my blog and an insight of my world. New adventures will be coming my way and don’t worry, you will be there too.

P.S. – I have attached a few more photos.

One of the many pictures I took when I went to Chicago. I fell in love and knew that is where I belonged but then again, that is how I feel when I travel to another city. ❤

It was such an amazing experience. I was able to go for free because I received a summer internship and the conference was held in Chicago. I also have friends that live there because of a few classes I took at U of A over my junior year of high school.

My aunt (left) and my mom (right). I love them will my entire heart and would do anything for them. I can be hard to handle sometimes but I know they are my true best friends that will be by my side no matter what.

This is my second family. Top row: Nancy (Vic’s sister), Vic, and then his mom. The bottom two munchkins are Vic’s nephew and niece, Alex and Amanda. I love them all with my whole heart. They always have welcomed me with open arms and they are seriously my second family. I am truly blessed to have met Victor and had my family grow by more kind people. ❤
